Chateau Champ des Treilles 2008
Very nice vin to drink, it's made up of a 1/3 of each Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon and Muscadelle. Great balance and texture to be found here. Champ des Treilles is the home property of the Comme family. Mr Comme is the chief winemaker for Chateau Pontet Canet so lots of love and attention evident in this vin. Congrates Mr. Comme and family, we're fans! Bio-dynamic too!

Château du Cléray Muscadet Sèvre et Maine sur Lie 2007
The first thing to be said is that there is Muscadet and Muscadet. Or to be more accurate, ‘industrial’Muscadet and ‘hand-made’Muscadet Sur Lie. Most of the best stuff spends up to a year sitting on its fermentation lees in tank or barrel, which fills out Muscadet's rather skeletal flavours with a bit of flesh and extra weight. Château du Cléray Sauvion, located in Vallet, in the heart of the Nantes vineyards, is one of the oldest estates of the Muscadet Sèvre et Maine region and produce this single estate elegant citrus and aniseed-scented white from entirely estate grown fruit. The real deal!

Louis Moreau Chablis 2008
“This is a very fresh, rather modern, Chablis that combines traditional regional clues with great purity of chardonnay fruit. The nose has steely, mineral notes along with apple and white peach aromas. Its dry, intense and lively, with real savoury presence that lingers in the mouth. A good introduction to this unique French white wine at a fair price.” Ralph Kyte-Powell , The Age, Epicure, Tuesday January 19th

William Fevre Petit Chablis 2008
A delicious chardonnay, this Petit Chablis shows vibrant aromas of crisp, nashi pear, lemon, grapefruit and light honeydew melon. There are hints of lanolin and mineral aromas in there as well. The fruit in the mouth is bright again with juicy nashi pear and lemon characters predominately.
