Domaine Tempier, "La Tourtine" 2004
This is a beautiful Bandol from Tempier with another bewitching nose of blackberry, boysenberry, leather and a touch of tar. The palate is full bodied, well defined with exquisite balance and purity. Like the 2005, there is a minerality here that lends the wine character. Touch of bitter cherry lingers on the after taste. Very long and persistency. Cellaring essential for this stupendous wine. Drinking 2015-2030. 94. Robert Parker

Toscar Monestrell 2007 (Alicante, Spain)
89 Points By Gary Walsh The Wine Front : A good wine with a lot of interest. Mataro (Mouvedre) is such a good grape: I’m a Mataroiste. Dried herbs, a whiff of ashtray and smoked meats with figs and plum - ooooh the call of the wild. It’s medium bodied, dry and spicy with food friendly tannin but has plenty of red fruits and plums to go with it. Rustic and thigh-slappingly tasty. It’s a dead set bargain that makes you feel ruggedly continental and more than a bit sexy with it. Hola! Throw me a pig!
