Chapoutier 'La Ciboise' Coteaux du Tricastin, Blanc 2007 (Dozen Price Only)
Bourboulenc 20%, Grenache blanc 20%, et Clairette 20%, Marsanne 40%.The wine is ages in vats, without malo-lactic fermentation. It is bottled during spring, depending on the harvest. Pale yellow colour with hints of green. Citrus nose with white flowers aromas. Lively attack first then fresh with mineral notes, to serve at 10/12°C. Staff Fav!

This is a great wine and one of the very finest Bordeaux blends ever produced at Cullens. It was made using all of the five red grape varieties of Bordeaux, with Cabernet Sauvignon comprising three quarters of the blend. Powerful and sumptuous, with the wonderful black cherry flavours in the middle palate being backed by fine-grained tannins and leading into a rewardingly long and lingering finish.

CRACKING VINTAGE IN THE WEST! This Bordeaux blend was made from 51% Cabernet Sauvignon and 41% Merlot and was matured for 26 months in French oak. Deep rich red with purple tinges. Complex cigar box, plum, mulberry and chocolate mint aromas. Rich fresh cherry and plum fruit flavours backed by subtle oak. Good texture, long and lingering.
