Daniel Dampt Chablis 2016

Domaine Daniel Dampt is one of the most well-regarded Chablis producers, creating wines of exceptional purity and freshness. Chablis is 100% Chardonnay grown on soils with fossilized shellfish. Because of that, the wine is a perfect pairing for oysters. Fresh lemon and green apple, an elegant minerality, with a lively finish. Fresh, elegant and concentrated. Drink now and over the next 4 years.

Vocoret 'Le Bas de Chapelot' Chablis 2015
Pale yellow. Cool menthol minerality dominates aromas of chalk, wet stone, lemon zest and resiny herbs. Seriously rich, dry, suave wine with cool stony minerality, a note of lemon and the pliancy of the year. The very long, savory aftertaste calls for time. Boasts lovely grain and density for village wine. STEPHEN TANZER, Vinous Media
Vocoret 'Les Butteaux' 1er Cru Chablis 2015

'Pale yellow. Sexy brown spices and a hint of nectarine on the nose; nicely high-pitched for 2015. Very ripe. Very dry, savory Chablis with lovely mouth feel, but its rather austere, crushed-rock flavors will need time to blossom in bottle. Seriously concentrated, tactile wine with lovely rocky mineral character. This strikes me as rich in extract but quite backward for the year, almost peppery on the back end.' STEPHEN TANZER, Vinous Media

William Fevre Petit Chablis 2016

A fine example of this Classic appellation!
