Vocoret 'Le Bas de Chapelot' Chablis 2016

The 2016 Chablis Bas de Chapelot has been in used barrels since March. It has a lovely bouquet, quite intense with subtle orange rind scents infusing the cold wet stone aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with good concentration on the entry and a fine line of acidity. This is not a complex Chablis but it does come replete with a spicy finish. I will be modest with my score for now as I discern more promise with respect to the premier cru Butteaux. Neal Martin, Wine Advocate 88-90/100

Vocoret 'Les Butteaux' 1er Cru Chablis 2016

The Wine Advocate - The 2016 Chablis 1er Cru les Butteaux has a little more precision and mineralit compared to the Chapelot nicely focused and conveying a sense of energy. The palate is fresh and tensile, quite saline in the mouth with a little more precision and sophistication on the elegant finish. This has great potential and will be well worth seeking out once in bottle. Neal Martin - 31/08/2017

William Fevre Petit Chablis 2017

A fine example of this Classic appellation!
