Coche-Dury Meursault 2013
Robert Parker describes Jean-François Coche-Dury as "one of the greatest winemakers on planet earth", and few would beg to differ. Painfully small yields and meticulously precise winemaking are what give the wines their character and intensity. His top wines spend an astonishing 22 months in barriques and are lightly fined but never filtered prior to bottling.

Curly Flat, Chardonnay 2015

“Bright, clear, medium to full yellow colour, with a cashew-nutty bouquet which is attractive, pure and fresh, laced with honey, lemon and grapefruit. The palate's focus, searing intensity and freshness suggest it will age well and build in the bottle. Appealing spicy touches from the oak. Lovely wine, focused, concentrated and very long, with great potential.”  Drink till 2026 96 Points Huon Hooke

Tapanappa Tiers Vineyard Chardonnay 2016

2016 Tapanappa Tiers Chardonnay ripened early and fully because of the very warm growing season. After gravity settling the partially clarified juice and its fluffy lees were racked to French Vosges oak barriques, 33% new and the balance 1 and 2 use and allowed to ferment at the cool air temperature of the Piccadilly Valley autumn. The 2016 Tiers Chardonnay was left on full lees in barrique until the summer when it was clear racked and prepared for bottling in mid March.

Riper honey and fig characters complement the typical Tiers Vineyard peach flavour and aroma and significant texture. The wine finishes with a grapefruit and quince nuance again typical of The Tiers Vineyard terroir expression.

Vocoret 'Le Bas de Chapelot' Chablis 2015
Pale yellow. Cool menthol minerality dominates aromas of chalk, wet stone, lemon zest and resiny herbs. Seriously rich, dry, suave wine with cool stony minerality, a note of lemon and the pliancy of the year. The very long, savory aftertaste calls for time. Boasts lovely grain and density for village wine. STEPHEN TANZER, Vinous Media

Vocoret 'Les Butteaux' 1er Cru Chablis 2015

'Pale yellow. Sexy brown spices and a hint of nectarine on the nose; nicely high-pitched for 2015. Very ripe. Very dry, savory Chablis with lovely mouth feel, but its rather austere, crushed-rock flavors will need time to blossom in bottle. Seriously concentrated, tactile wine with lovely rocky mineral character. This strikes me as rich in extract but quite backward for the year, almost peppery on the back end.' STEPHEN TANZER, Vinous Media
