Denis Pommier, Petit Chablis 2009
Denis and Isabelle Pommier have built up quite a following amongst sommeliers 'in the know' in recent years and certainly the Petit Chablis is a brilliant wine to serve by the glass. It is a model of brisk freshness - made entirely in stainless steel, while the Premier Crus benefit from a small amount of barrel-fermentation and élevage.

Domaine Leflaive Batard Montrachet Grand Cru 2002
An expressive, elegant and pure nose of spice, white flower and green fruit aromas are followed by dense, big, rich and explosive full-bodied flavors that are blessed with abundant dry extract and a finish that won't quit. Not withstanding all of the size and weight, this is impeccably balanced and overall, this continues to display that "wow" factor. Note that like many '02s at this point, the '02 Bâtard could certainly be drunk with pleasure. 94 Points BURGHOUND

Domaine Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru 2002
A supremely elegant nose of white flower and limestone notes are followed by sweet, pungently mineral and ultra precise middle weight flavors that offer simply incredible focus with an almost painfully intense, stunningly long finish. This|has just now arrived on the front edge of its peak drinkability though some may prefer a few more years in the cellar first. In sum, this is really lovely juice that should age gracefully for several decades. 94 Points Drink: Now+ BURGHOUND

Domaine Leflaive Chevalier Montrachet Grand Cru 2008
Like the Bâtard, here the nose is quite restrained but exceptionally elegant and pure with white flower, green apple, pear and wet stone where the latter element continues onto the rich, full and highly energetic flavors that tighten up considerably on the detailed, minerally and bone dry finish that displays distinct citrus mineral nuances. This is long, tight and linear with huge amounts of dry extract that renders the very firm acid spine almost invisible at present though the finish is clearly shaped by it. This magnificent Chevalier should be a genuine stunner in 12 to 15 years. 97 Points BURGHOUND

William Fevre Petit Chablis 2009
A delicious chardonnay, this Petit Chablis shows vibrant aromas of crisp, nashi pear, lemon, grapefruit and light honeydew melon. There are hints of lanolin and mineral aromas in there as well. The fruit in the mouth is bright again with juicy nashi pear and lemon characters predominately.
