A Boy with Fruit Mudgee Multi Vintage

2009/2010 hard pressings re-fermented with 2013 Shiraz. Foot trod, delicate extraction then 6 months in French & Hungarian hogs heads

Powerful black fruits with plenty of blueberry and violets. Soft subtle tannins, lovely acid - soft but present. Delicious!

Adalia Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore 2014
30% Corvina, 40% Corvina Grossa, 20% Rondinella, 10% Molinara

Dry red wine with intense ruby colour. Smelling it you can clearly feel red fruits, marasca above all, and a good spicy note at the end. Elegant and with balanced tannins.Excellent with every type of grilled and braised meat and with medium or long aged cheeses 

The wine remains in the fermentation barrels until the end of February to be then ripassato (passed over) the Amarone skins fo 7/10 days

Alamos Malbec 2016
The Alamos Malbec has a dark purple color with violet highlights. The nose offers bright black cherry aromas with light floral notes and a touch of toast. The mouthfeel is full and rich, with ripe, concentrated cassis and black raspberry fruit interwoven with a touch of chocolate and sweet spice from light oak aging. The finish shows ripe, silky tannins.

Alvaro Palacios Camins del Priorat 2013
This wine is a beautiful ruby colour and gives complex aromas of blackberry, cola, oak, and spice cake. Perfumed and sweet in the mouth, the smooth tannins give the wine a superbly silky texture. Flavours of black cherry and Asian spice. Medium weight on the palate, this vibrant, dry wine has a fleshy and broad finish with black and blue fruit.

Argiolas 'Costera' IGT Cannonau di Sardegna 2014
Red Sardianian drop based on Cannanou. Saturated purple color, lifted perfumes with masses ripe red and black fruits wrapped together by a 'Latin' tannin gurdle. Extremely pleasurable and hard to put down!

Armand Rousseau Chambertin Grand Cru 2014
97 points Allen Meadows :There is enough wood to notice framing the exuberantly spicy red and dark currant aromas that display an abundance of sauvage and earth nuances. The cool and pure medium weight plus flavors are remarkably refined for a young Chambertin yet there is clearly plenty of power lurking beneath the refined veneer. This is a big but not massive vintage for the Rousseau Cham and I like the sense of proportion and particularly so on the harmonious, superbly long and seamlessly well-balanced finale. As is the case with the 2015 vintage, it's going to be very interesting to see which of these two is the better wine in 15 to 20 years.    

18.5+/20 Jancis Robinson : Very majestic and autumnal on the nose. Very concentrated and all in the future. Not weak at all with much more obvious ripe fruit in the middle than Clos de Beze. Dense and very dry and savoury but the fruit more than stands up to the new oak. Magnificent. Vibrato.

Armand Rousseau Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru "Les Cazetiers" 2014
90-92 Allen Meadows : Here the reticent nose of plum, violet and dark berries is notably earthier and more sauvage in character. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the delineated, muscular and equally mineral-driven flavors that possess slightly more size and weight on the youthfully austere finish where a hint of bitter cherry arises. Note that moderate patience will be required.
