Sebastien is just what you want in a vigneron. Young and energetic, he's gently easing out his Dad Etienne. Also having travelled a bit , he ha sa good mix of perspective and respect for tradition. he and his dad have been working orgaincally for some years but decided to formalise it in 2006. Their twelve hectatres are quite esterly in the appelation so they have a fair bit of flinty 'silex' in their soils as well as the more usual stony 'caillottes' and clayey 'terres blanches'. they keep sulphur levels very low and Sebastien has decided to continue his Dad's style in the Domaine Etienne wines, meaning modern clean, classic Sancerre
