Chateau St. Didier Parnac Cahors 2007
Cahors vineyards date back to the roman occupation, making them among the oldest in France. here, the local Malbec (auxerrois) is king and brings to this fine, traditional domaine blend its firm, aromatic fruit and is blended with a little Merlot for plumpness with some tannat giving structure. eighteen months in new and older oak barrels result in superb, well balanced tannins, in a medium-to-full bodied wine which is fleshy, well rounded and very aromatic in the mouth.
