Domaine Chandon de Briailles, Corton Les Maréchaudes Grand Cru 2002
Very tight and reserved, indeed this is presently almost completely inexpressive aromatically and the flavors are supple and even a bit light though they offer good punch and plenty of authority. The finish is generous and persistent but I can only assume that the mise has caused this to shut down because the wine is not at its usual standard and my score offers the benefit of the doubt.
