Muga Blanco Barrel Fermented (Rioja) 2008
This wine is one of our FAVS!!!!!! Give it a bit of air and you'll find it'll float between Chassagne, Pouiily Fuisse and Hunter Sem! The wines seems to have eaten any noticable oak, Bravo! It's great structure, extremely long finish and that tell tale greenish hue make us think it could build on these favourable characters with a few years in a cool cellar!
Grape Variety: 90% Viura and 10% Malvasía.
Soil: Clay/Calcareous and Alluvial
Wine Making: A double checking method is used to select the finest grapes for wine production. The fist check is carried out on the selection belt, the second, on tasting the musts. In this way, up to 50% of the harvest is excluded from production. The process then involves slow fermentation in new French oak followed by 3 months on fine lees.

Cork Closure. 750ML Format.
