This is a juicy, vibrant wine bursting with purple flowers and fruits on the nose and palate. Well integrated oak for some delicate, sappy tannins. Medium weight but full flavour. Great length.

Aromas of fresh crushed grapes and stewed red strawberries and raspberries.
Aged on lees for 4 years, a complex and heady champagne.

90% Black grapes delivers a full, ripe, vinous style of champagne. A crisp explosion of white summer fruits with a hint of wheat, chalk and wet stone. Perfect as an aperitif!
94 Points Bottled as a single blend in 2012, this has a fine, peppery edge to
the nose with elegant dark-chocolate aromas ahead of brambly dark plums and
black-cherry fruits. There's a wealth of richness and power here, and it's so
layered and dense. A wine that shows a smooth build of fine and even tannin.
The gentle pepperiness cracks into the finish, where there's another warm dark
chocolate afterglow. This spent 36 months in oak, of which 50% was new. Best
from 2018 and for at least a decade afterward. James Suckling

inky black-colored 2013 Côte Rôtie La Landonne is certainly one of the gems in
the vintage, and it has more texture, depth and richness than just about every
other wine out there. Charred fruits, black
fruits, espresso, crushed rock and wood smoke all emerge from this full-bodied,
concentrated Côte Rôtie that certainly shows a masculine style, yet still
possesses incredible purity and elegance. Robert Parkers Wine

of sweet-smelling spices and a green-ish pepper edge to the nose with plenty of
dark plums, crushed dark violety florals and grilled raisin toast. The palate
has smooth, sweeping tannins that build in waves of pastry-like, plush and velvety
texture. Long blood plum and creamy espresso finish. Drink now and beyond.
