Macedon Ridge Sparkling NV (Macedon, Vic)
Is this the best value Sparkling in Australia... we think so! We don’t stock Chandon NV, why would we, when the Macedon R NV can be enjoyed so much more for the same $. These guys are specialist sparking producers in Macedon, which is the coolest viticultural area in Australia. Its a blend of all 3 classic champagne varieties and has spend 3 years on lees! Quite champagne like, give it a go, you'll be impressed.
Marc Bredif Vouvray 2017
Chenin Blanc is the grape of Vouvray. Fresh and accessible, flinty stone characters mixed with caremilised apples and cashews, lovely texture and great length. Will developed unbelievably with extended bottle age.
Marchese Antinori 'Tignanello' Chianti Classico Riserva 2015

Vintage 2015 the best so far!

Marion Amarone Valpolicella 2013
Amarone is a wine that consists of 100% dried grapes. They are picked of the vine then dried on straw mats for minimum 3 months. This concentrates the flavours and offers a truly unique blend of dark fruit flavours with warm spices. An Icon wine of Italy. 10% of local grape Croatina has been added to this fulsome 16% alcohol blend of Corvina, Corvinone and Rondinella, giving a darker, polished, more compact coffee bean and richly succulent by dry wine.
Marion Borgomarcellise Valpolicella 2016
Of course it's light on the nose, but decant and be patient, the wine builds and expresses itself beautifully both the aromas and body!! Very refined at this level, mature fruit, very smooth palate that has great balance. Drinks even better on day 2 if you have any left !
Marion Teroldego 2012

Rarer than hen's teeth is probably the best description. “Exceptionally rare Teroldego from Veneto…Standout imports include extraordinary Red Teroldego from Marion" - Max Allen, Gourmet Traveller Wine, June 2013.

Marion produce tiny amounts and sell out every year after release however the importer put some away on reserve for us lucky few. Elizabeth Foradori is the ‘Godmother’ of the variety and Marion have grafted from her original vines back in 1994 from Trentino. It’s similar to a Zinfandel but with the Italian flair for acid, making it a superb food wine.

Marion Valpolicella Superiore 2014
Marion's winemaker has spent 15 vintages as Quintarelli's winemaker and now consults for Dal Forno as well. Superb pedigree of skill. This Superiore isnt your usual 'higher ABV' or 'Ripassa' style. Marion actually use 30% dried grapes in this cuvee, giving the wine some serious complexity. Chocolate with cherries, velvetly mouthfeel then a lovely spring of acid.
Matias Riccitelli Tinto de la Casa Riccatelli Malbec 2017
Founded in 2009 and born into winemaking, Matias Riccitelli is located in the traditional area of Lujánde Cuyo, which is considered to be part of the North Zone of wines from Argentina, within the large region of Mendoza with fruit also sourced from several different vineyard sites, including stepping outside of the North Zone to the higher altitude Zone of the Uco Valley, 1450 metres above sealevel, southwest of their facility location.

Malbec is definitely the star for this producer, as they endeavor to explore the variety in every possible way, by using a combination of concrete vats and barrels/foudre of all ages.
