The Wine

The Bourgogne Chardonnay grapes are 50% from Meursault village vines, with the rest coming from St-Romain, Auxey-Duresses, and Puligny-Montrachet village vines.

This wine excels, presenting a complex bouquet of fresh white to yellow peach aromas, delicate floral notes, and a touch of stone and minerality. Classifying this wine merely as a regional variety is challenging due to its density and complexity, which suggest a village-level classification. This exceptional Bourgogne Chardonnay punches well above its weight, with the majority of its grapes sourced from low-yielding village vines.

For optimal enjoyment, decant 30 minutes before serving & do not serve too cold.

88-90 points Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy. 'Domaine fruit and some purchased from St Romain, 5 barrels out of 50. Mid lemon yellow, with grapey yellow fruit on the nose. Excellent density, still quite rich and ripe in fruit style, but with an electric energy at the back. Drink from 2025-2027. '
