Alessandro Della Vecchia Grinton Grigio 2020
The ‘Grinton’ label represents a tiny project where Alessandro sources organic grapes from like mind friends. Here you’ll find a nod to the rustic vino da tavola of old.
“The Grinton (Pinot) Grigio sees skins left in contact with the juice long enough for the colour and some skin tannin to leach out - in the process some oxidization occurs. The result is an inspiring vini that is more rosado like, Copper in colour, with hints of peach and spice, subtle structure via nice acid/tannin combo and finishing dry with a lick of salt at the end. It’s quite a stable wine that can be drunk over a number of days. Serve slightly chilled, sit back and relax with some olives and charcuterie if you will.” TC
