Blackberries, graphite, new leather, and a kiss of tobacco all emerge from this nicely textured, pure, layered Pessac. Give bottles 4-5 years and enjoy over the following two decades. Although it was famously served at the coronation of King George VI, it has seems to have been somewhat overlooked in recent years. Its striking art deco label was designed by Alfred Kressman in the 1930s and it remains under the Kressman’s ownership today. Its name is derived from the 12th century tower on the estate, all that is left of a small, fortified castle although the name Martillac was added to differentiate the property from the First Growth, Chateau Latour. It was awarded classed growth status in the Graves classification of 1959, and was one just six to be awarded for both its reds and whites.\u003c\/span\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e","brand":"Latour Martillac","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":53291334860984,"sku":"SKU-130426004049","price":130.0,"currency_code":"AUD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0616\/4211\/3208\/files\/524B9BC5-F71D-4019-A914-655A93415A82.jpg?v=1776142716","url":"https:\/\/www.vauclusecellars.com.au\/products\/chateau-latour-martillac-rouge-2016","provider":"Vaucluse Cellars","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
