The Wine
The 2020 'Recta Pete' (which translates to 'shooting straight') has become such a loved, sought-after expression of Barbaresco.
The palate is incredibly fine, with notes of raspberry, strawberry and cherry weaving with graphite and woodsmoke, and a taught tannic finish. One to pop in a decanter for a few hours before serving, or better yet leaving a few more years - your patience will be rewarded!
