The Wine
100% Grolleau which falls very much into that that 'vin de soif' category. Black currants and violets followed by some baking spice form the bouquet. With a touch of fizz this is a wild and easy drinking wine from a Natural wine legend. This is a touch rounder than previous vintages, full of bramble-y fruit and a touch of wildness. Fermented with native yeasts, unfiltered & unfined, no additional sulphites. Will suit lovers of Gamay, Pinot Noir and Trousseau and Pineau d'Aunis.

About the Wine Maker 
Babass is something of a legend in the natural wine world. He was formerly part of Domaine des Griottes and has now decided to go it alone with his 2.4 hectares of Cabernet Franc, Grolleau and Chenin Blanc. His wines sum up natural wine for a lot of people – wild but pure and compellingly drinkable.
