The Wine

No.10 is our ultimate multi-regional blend that captures the very essence of the vintage and is the definitive expression of Riesling. The 2022 is a blend of 59% Clare Valley and 41% Eden Valley, creating the perfect balance of luxurious richness and pure, refined elegance. The bouquet is exquisitely perfumed, an enticing symphony of dried rose petals, fresh lime, lemon myrtle and sage. The palate is equally seductive; enthralling in its silken subtlety, with a soft, velvety texture and gentle acidity that imparts a lithe elegance and graceful persistence to the finish. About the Wine Maker 

For John Hughes, the attraction to Riesling is all encompassing. Growing up on a small vineyard in the Clare Valley, and going on to work with some of the brightest Riesling makers in the country before launching his own venture, John is never far away from his beloved grape. John makes classic Australian styles from carefully selected vineyards with an emphasis on purity and site reflection, as well as German-inspired expressions that balance acidity and sugar with singular precision.
