The Wine

The view from the Struie down across the Dornoch Firth is as inspiring as that of the Valley floor from the Barossa Ranges. A blend of Barossa Valley (75%) and Eden Valley (25%) fruit, the Barossa Valley contributes plushness and concentration whilst the Eden Valley component brings elegance and structure to the blend. The average age of vines is 50 years old and maturation takes place in a mixture of new (15%) and seasoned French oak for a period of 20 months. 2018 was a high quality vintage for the Barossa with Shiraz one of the stand out varieties.
