The Wine

‘Medium to full red-purple; the bouquet shows excellent complexity and, in particular, subtle fortifying spirit. The long and complex palate has spicy plum cake flavours, with a pleasing long, dry finish taking it way outside the Australian mainstream towards that of Portugal. A blend of Shiraz, Touriga, Durif, Tinta Cao and Tinta Barroca. Release November 2003.’ 94 Points James Halliday tasted 17.6.2021
