About the Wine Maker 
Owned by Spanish winery Bosamaria, Lonia produces some of the finest Cava from the DO Penedès region. Much like Champagne, Lonia’s Cava is crafted in the traditional method, blending 40% Parellada for subtlety and freshness, 25% Xarello for body and structure, 25% Macabeo for flesh and perfume, and 10% Chardonnay for body and mid-palate weight. The blend is created before the second fermentation in the bottle, where the wine rests on its lees for a year with regular remuage. After disgorgement, it’s topped with licor de expedición and sealed with a high-quality cork. This delicious drink, perfect as an aperitif or paired with light dishes, is a testament to why Cava is gaining popularity and gracing the tables of Spain’s finest restaurants.
