The Wine

It greets you with breezy apple blossom and fresh pear aromas on the nose. The crisp, taut palate is nicely balanced with a fine bead of acidity and plenty of energy, finishing on a lively note of orange zest and quince.

87 Pts Allen Meadows, Burghound.com, Oct 2024 'A fine and lovely Petit Chablis to enjoy. An appealingly fresh nose features notes of green fruit, iodine, petrol and plenty of citrus nuances that are also reflected by the generous and supple yet punchy middle weight flavors that conclude in refreshing bitter lemon-inflected finish. Drink: 2025+'

About the Wine Maker

The Dampt family of winegrowers dates back 150 years. The Daniel Dampt’s estate currently counts 30 hectares of vines in production, including 16 hectares of Chablis and 14 hectares of Chablis Ier Cru. All Daniel Dampt's wines are produced and bottled by the Domaine. His sons, Vincent and Sebastien now manage the Domaine and continue to make very pure, intense wine, with the crisply dry, long finish of signature Chablis.
