The Wine
The nose offers lovely floral aromas with a touch of funk, hints of candied fruit, sweet red berries, and a dash of clove and spice. On the palate, red cherries, sweet clove, and herbs blend with juicy dark berries, subtle notes of licorice, and cinnamon bark, finishing with drying tannins and a hint of thyme and herbs. This has matured into a delicious, fragrant wine that should hold nicely for a few more years. Archetypical MSD!

About the Wine Maker

The domaine operates under a strict organic farming programme along with a low-yield production policy. With twenty vintages to hone his craft, David is now reaching his full powers as a winemaker and the result today is a range of generous wines dened by straightforward power and the unmistakable nobility of true Burgundian Pinot Noir.
