Albert Mann Cremant d Alsace Extra Brut Vintage 2022
The Wine
This Sparkling Cremant is a blend of Pinot Blanc and Auxerrois.
This is a wine defined by delicacy and freshness. Its pale gold color is complemented by a fine mousse that brings a soft creaminess to the palate. The flavors are well-balanced, with notes of underripe peach, nectarine, melon, and white cherry. Tight and lean, it boasts an excellent texture and is mouthwateringly refreshing with a moreish finish.
93 Pts Falstaff 'Aromas of apricots, Boskoop apple and toast, savoury notes of pepper and bay leaf. Distinctly dry on the palate, which emphasises a very appetising, subtle tartness, a fine-grained, vinous mouthfeel, balanced by the fresh acidity with a long, yeasty finish, notes of toasted nuts. A crémant with an animatingly tart and savoury core.'
