Chateau Tour Sieujean, Pauillac 2023
The Wine
75% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot
This classic Pauillac comes from a tiny estate of only 3 hectares, producing a mere thousand cases annually. Located in the Médoc peninsula, it benefits from a highly favorable climate, with mild temperatures, ample sunlight, and gentle breezes. The 75% Cabernet Sauvignon/25% Merlot blend is big and expressive, with deep fruit and silky tannins. Lush currant and black cherry fruit mingle with spice box, cedar, pekoe tea, and woodsy herbs. As with any Pauillac, it continues to evolve and show off with air.
93 Pts Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast ' A ripe, smoothly textured wine, hiding its tannins behind full-bodied, juicy fruit, this is maturing well. Dominated by Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine's black currant aroma leads beautifully to the textured wine. Drink from 2028.'

About the Wine Maker
Château Tour Sieujean is a charming vineyard in Saint-Laurent-du-Médoc, just southwest of the Pauillac appellation. Spanning 8 hectares across Pauillac and Haut-Médoc, it’s one of the last family-run estates among Pauillac’s many grands crus—18 in total, covering 85% of the appellation’s area. The same family has tended the estate for four generations. Until 1948, they produced wine as “Château La Tour Sieujean” before joining local cellar cooperatives and sharing their harvests instead of making wine on-site. In 2002, they returned to independent production under the current name. Thanks to the Médoc peninsula’s mild, sunny climate, each grape variety reaches perfect maturity, allowing them to craft excellent “Vins de Garde” for ageing.
