About the Wine Maker
Clos de Tue-Boeuf has been crafting some of the most delicious and outstanding wines in the central Loire for many years. In the early '90s, Jean-Marie and Thierry Puzelat took over their family domaine in Cheverny, transitioned to organic farming, and began producing wines with native yeast and minimal or no sulphur. Three decades later, Clos du Tue-Boeuf stands as a benchmark for natural winemaking in the Loire Valley, if not all of France.
The Puzelats have refined their craft over many years, avoiding the common challenges of natural winemaking. Their wines are vibrant, fresh, and pure, showcasing tension, clarity, and minerality – they are simply a joy to drink!
