Domaine Derey Marsannay 'Les Champs Perdrix' 2021
The Wine
90-92 Points Jasper Morris MW 'Made with some whole bunches, currently still in barrel. A good colour between crimson and purple, with a fine depth of quality red fruit on the nose. Plenty of energy on the palate yet with a fine red velvet texture and good fresh acidity. Lovely finish. Drink from 2025-2029.'

About the Wine Maker
Domaine Derey is from a lesser known village in Couchey, a village that is sold under the name of it’s better known neighbor Marsannay. Couchey is located north of Fixin and south of Marsannay. The Derey family has been farming these vineyards since 1850 and remains a true family business to this day. The parents, Pierre and Suzanne, run the estate with their 3 sons Maxime, Romain, and Pierre-Marie. The family uses traditional methods to work the vineyards and gentle techniques that respect the soil.
