Mainly Sangiovese (80%) with splashes of Syrah and Merlot This light to medium bodied red is super delicious. Quite vibrant straight out of the bottle, it will benefit from a vigerious decant to let its peacock feathers fan - day 2 drinking a treat so well worth also losing a few bottles in the cellar to revisit in a few years.

About the Wine Maker 
Gentle Folk was started by Gareth & Rainbo Belton in 2013 vintage, with three barrels of wine made from Basket Range. Since then, a move to the Adelaide Hills initiated a steep educational curve to get to grips with biodynamic and organic farming and making wines in a dilapidated shed with no running water or electricity. With four sites now, they make an eclectic range of natural wines that buck convention, while also now drilling down on variety and site. Also, finalists in 2014 at Young Gun of Wine Awards
