About the Wine Maker 
The collective work of 216 growers, Cave de Turckheim is one of the most successful co-operatives in France. Founded in 1955, Cave de Turckheim has been a guiding force in bringing clean, bright and fresh Alsatian wines into the market place. Grapes are grown in diverse soils, including limestone, granite, gravel, marl and sandstone, all of which impart different characters and styles to the overall blend of the wines.
Michel Lihrmann has been the senior winemaker for over 25 years and his style of dryer wines has been a huge hit, expressing the wonderful breadth of the Alsatian terroir and pushing pure fruit flavours to the fore.
