The Wine

AOP Sables de Camargue lies in a wild, iconic part of Provence, stretching along the Mediterranean coast from Arles to Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer and Aigues-Mortes, across vast coastal plains and deltas. The terroir is mainly sandy alluvial soils rich in salt from the nearby sea, allowing deep vine roots to thrive, withstand drought, and draw essential nutrients, giving the wines their distinct minerality.

With a Mediterranean climate of hot, dry summers and mild winters, the Camargue enjoys over 300 days of sunshine each year. The sea’s influence tempers extreme temperatures and adds welcome humidity in dry months, while breezes help grapes ripen perfectly and keep their natural acidity. Vineyards sit just a few meters above sea level.

The 2024 vintage shows a delicate pale-peach hue with silver highlights. Its fresh, mineral nose carries notes of bergamot and a hint of sea spray. On the palate, it’s round and harmonious, balancing fruit delicacy with minerality, lifted by bright lime zest and lively freshness. Elegant and vibrant, it’s a true expression of the Mediterranean lifestyle—ideal with summer salads, grilled fish, or simply as an aperitif with friends.
