100% Sangiovese from vines ranging in age from 12 to 22 years old with maturation taking place in French oak for a few months. Rich red currant and red cherry fruits show excellent intensity and flesh across the mid weighted palate with earthy dried herb, tobacco and spice characters also chiming in. 

90 Pts Eric Guido, Vinous 'The 2024 Rosso di Montalcino combines minty herbs with nuances of wet stone and blackberries. It's round and soothing with crisp minerality and ripe, wild berry fruits. Energetic and gently chewy, the 2024 closes with a subtle black fruit saturation.'

Villa Argiano, built in 1581 lays claim to being the oldest wine estate in Montalcino, located below Saint Angelo in Colle, some 8km from the famous wine town.
