The Wine

This vibrant, full-bodied rosé from France’s Rhone Valley is made from Grenache, Cinsault, and Syrah. It bursts with inviting aromas of wild strawberries, cherries, and a touch of rose petal, while the rich palate delivers bright red fruit flavors and a crisp, dry finish.

94 Pts Anna-Christina Cabrales, Wine Enthusiast 'This rose is sultry in every sense of the word. Lovely, bready aromas of strawberry-rhubarb tart charm the nose accompanied by rosehip and a smattering of bruised red cherry blossom. The palate is fulsome with a restrained, well-integrated fruit core that draws you in and persuades another glass.'

About the Wine Maker

Established in 1595 by Louis Joseph d’Aqueria, the Chateau d’Aqueria is one of the most important estates in the southern Rhone with 66 hectares of vines planted within the appellations of Tavel, Lirac and Cotes du Rhone. The magnificent Chateau is surrounded by the vineyards in one continuous block, split into three very distinct terroirs, red sandy soils which are reserved for Tavel, stony clay soils (similar to Chateauneuf du Pape) reserved for the red Lirac, and stone calcareous soils reserved for the white Lirac.
