The Wine

Pure and mineral, this Pouilly-Fumé cuvée has a pale gold color of beautiful shine as well as a nice, subtle nose on the fruit. We notice the unique hints of flint and the mineral profile linked to the nature of the soil. The whole combines freshness and roundness. This wine is a pale gold which has a beautiful shine and a nice fresh nose, fruity and rather subtle. Note the characteristic notes of flinty minerals related to the soil where the grapes are grown. This all combines to give freshness and roundness.

Food and wine pairing: the finesse and minerality of our Pouilly-Fumé make it the ally of seafood platters, fish dishes, white meats, asparagus.

About the Wine Maker

Eric Louis is producer in Thauveney-en-Sancerrois in the Loire. The Louis family wine business began as early as 1860. Now Eric is at the helm and winemaker at the domaine, which extends over 10 hectares on the south- east side of the Sancerre vineyard.
