Marcel Lapierre Morgon Vieilles Vignes 2025
The Wine
Morgon is one of the most famous crus and appellations of the Beaujolais! Typically, Morgon wines display four dominant aromas: cherry, violet, raspberry, and a very subtle hint of licorice. Combining lightness and richness, our Morgon has an average aging potential of around ten years. Most of our vineyards are located within the Morgon appellation (18 hectares), within a 3 km radius around the estate, across a great diversity of terroirs and lieu-dit. ML
The 2025 is a classic Morgon, combining vibrant cherry, raspberry, and violet notes, accented by a touch of savory or licorice, with smooth tannins and the mineral bite of decomposed granite. It offers the juicy, immediate appeal typical of Beaujolais, yet holds enough structure and depth to mature beautifully over time.

About the Wine Maker
Marcel Lapierre became a key figure in Beaujolais after taking over his family estate in 1973, adopting the low-intervention philosophy championed by researcher Jules Chauvet. Today, his children Mathieu and Camille carry on the family tradition.
