The Wine

Crafted from carefully selected Trebbiano and Malvasia grapes, traditional varieties for this style, which are slowly dried to concentrate their sugars and flavors. This method, combined with extended aging, results in a wine with extraordinary depth, complexity, and sweetness.

The grapes are fermented in small oak barrels, called ‘caratelli,’ and the wine is aged for several years, allowing it to develop rich aromas and flavors. In the glass, it showcases a deep amber color and enticing aromas of dried apricot, honey, and toasted almond. The palate is lush, offering notes of caramel, fig, and candied orange, balanced by a refreshing acidity that keeps it from being overly sweet. The finish is long and smooth, leaving hints of hazelnut and spice. This Vin Santo is an elegant choice for dessert wine lovers.
