The Wine

Vibrant, delicate, tantalizing, and impeccably balanced, the Non-Vintage Brut Cuis 1er Cru epitomizes the quintessential Pierre Gimonnet & Fils style. This cuvée stands as the foundation of the estate, offering an introduction to their winemaking philosophy.

This timeless non-vintage blend is cherished for its consistent taste, characterized by its vivacity, subtlety, and elegance – embodying the unadulterated purity of the finest Côte des Blancs Chardonnays.

Côte de blancs; 67.5 per cent 2019 vintage, 32.5 per cent reserve wines from 2010–2018; disgorged November ’21, 6g/l dosage. The flowery white blossom bouquet, and grapefruit-accented palate, keep the tradition of this style; generosity and depth. Rating: 93 Points & Top 100 Wines for 2022; James Halliday Wine Companion

About the Wine Maker

The champagnes of Pierre Gimonnet & Fils are intricately assembled by masterful hands exclusively from enviably positioned and painstakingly tended old vines. Every cuvée sings its aspiration of ‘precision, purity and minerality’, each speaking articulately of its place in the northern Côte des Blancs through expressive, chalky minerality, without one molecule of detail out of place. With high-strung tension, crystalline structure and rapier-sharp precision, these are blanc de blancs champagnes charged with an energy that will sustain them long indeed. They represent some of the best-value apéritif champagnes of all - The Champagne Guide 2016-2017, Tyson Stelzer
