Villa Raiano Fiano de Avellino 2024
The Wine
93 Pts Kerin O'Keefe 'Racy and showing great tension, the Villa Raiano 2024 Fiano di Avellino is excellent. Boasting flavors of lime, ripe pear, nutmeg, white peach and ripe yellow apple, the palate also has bright acidity before a saline finish.'
91 Pts Danielle Callegari, Wine Enthusiast 'The nose has the fresh sweetness of lime, grass, Anjou pear and melon, while the palate balances an intense salinity with sweeter, dense fruit notes of pear and apple, before a nutty, just slightly bitter finish wraps things up.'

About the Wine Maker
Villa Raiano is a family-owned vineyard at 400m near San Michelle di Serino. Falanghina is a local grape variety with citrus and white stone fruit aromas. Villa Raiano Falanghina has notes of mineral notes and honey on the crisp finish. The family-owned winery of Villa Raiano was established in 1996, in the village of Raiano, Campania. In 2009 a new winery was built - on top of a hill amongst vineyards and chestnut woods, overlooking the River Sabato near San Michele di Serino in the Southern Apennines. They are dedicated to producing a range of wines from local varieties Aglianico, Fiano and Greco - primarily sourced (80%) from 20 hectares of their own organically farmed vines, across three DOCGs. They also produce Falanghina from vineyards owned by local growers.
