The Wine

100% of the wine was aged for 12 months in medium-toast, fine-grain French 
oak (80%) and American oak (20%), to preserve the balance of black fruit and the 
character of the Carmenere.

The wine is deep violet in color, this wine delivers soft, spicy notes with aromas of blackberries, cherries, and chocolate. Gentle tannins lead to a smooth, harmonious finish, while the palate bursts with red currant and mulberry mingling with tobacco, dried herbs, black olive, and hints of spicy capsicum. The mid-weighted palate shows ample flesh, layered with red currant and dark cherry over earthy tobacco, dried herbs, black olive, subtle tomato leaf, and spicy cedar. Enticing!
