The Wine

Made from Premier Cru old vine Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this rosé is crafted using the traditional ‘Saignee’ method. Its color is achieved by letting the grapes macerate for a few hours after pressing to obtain the perfect juice hue. This delicate process is challenging as achieving the desired color is difficult, making it less common than blending white with red. With greater structure than a blended rosé, this exceptional Rose Champagne boasts strong berry aromas and flavors, making it more enjoyable with a meal than as an aperitif.

Comes in a dedicated gift box as pictured

About the Wine Maker

The story of Champagne Gardet began at the end of the 19th Century with Charles Gardet (1870-1913). The house owns around 7 ha of premier cru vineyards around the home village of Chigny-les-Roses, Ludes and Rilly la Montagne. The long tirage time and the use of a high proportion of reserve wine has marked the house style, and in fact is a distinguishing feature of Champagne Gardet.
