The Wine

This golden‑amber Passito di Pantelleria is a luxurious Sicilian dessert wine made entirely from sun‑dried Zibibbo (Muscat of Alexandria) grapes. Crafted using traditional, labour‑intensive drying methods, it delivers intensely concentrated aromas of dried apricot, honey and fig, wrapped in a velvety sweetness that lingers beautifully. Produced by the historic Cantine Pellegrino on the windswept island of Pantelleria, this sumptuous straw wine captures the island’s radiant warmth and volcanic character. Rich, expressive and irresistibly smooth, it’s a standout choice for dessert, cheese, or a refined sweet aperitif.

About the Wine Maker

Cantine Pellegrino is a historic, family‑owned winery founded in 1880 in Marsala, western Sicily. Now run by the seventh generation, the estate is a leading name in Sicilian wine, producing still and sparkling wines, celebrated sweet Zibibbo bottlings, and a wide range of traditional Marsala styles. With four organically farmed estates across the Trapani province and extensive ageing cellars holding over a thousand oak barrels, Pellegrino combines deep heritage with a strong commitment to quality and the environment.
