The Wine

Sourced from plantings across the estate, this wine is wild-fermented in stainless steel and aged for six months in concrete tanks before bottling. It’s bright and grippy, with enough juiciness for casual sipping and enough depth to be taken seriously. Montepulciano intriguingly delivers oak-like impressions in its chocolate and spice notes – whatever the reason, it makes for fun drinking.

One of the best releases yet: vibrant, juicy, and generous. Aromas and flavors range from dark chocolate, cocoa, and plums to earthy mushroom and beetroot. Chewy tannins give it character, layered with baking spice, clove, and a touch of creamy texture. A generous, lively wine that will appeal to both Old and New World palates.
