The Wine
A beautifully balanced dry Riesling from one of the Rheingau’s most respected estates. The 2024 Estate Riesling Trocken is crafted from fruit grown across Künstler’s limestone-rich vineyards, where loess, loam and gravel soils lend both texture and freshness.
Hand harvested and gently pressed, the juice is fermented mainly in stainless steel to preserve purity and bright fruit character, with a small portion aged in large neutral oak for added depth and roundness. The wine rests on fine lees for six months before bottling, building complexity and a subtle creaminess.

Künstler is one of the Rheingau’s true benchmarks, precision-engineered Rieslings from some of the region’s most historic sites, including Hochheim, Rüdesheim and Assmannshausen. Gunter Künstler is all detail: vineyard nuance, purity of fruit, seamless texture.

The GG bottlings are the real statement here, dry Rieslings with structure, depth and real ageing potential.
