70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Mourvèdre aged 2/3 in tank and 1/3 in barrel. These vineyards were purchased in 1997.

The fine tannins give the full-bodied palate an elegance rare in this appellation, which has a reputation for rusticity. Polished finish. 70% grenache, 20% syrah and 10% other varieties. 70% was matured in tanks and 30% in Burgundy barrels. Drink or hold.'

Château Mont-Redon will be familiar to those who know and love Châteauneuf-du-Pape being well recognized as the owners of one of the most highly regarded vineyard sites in the appellation.
