Petersons Vintage Cuvee Chardonnay
The Wine
A true crowd-pleaser, this Chardonnay blends three different vintages. “Cuvée” is a French term for blended wine, and Peterson’s has long crafted a Vintage Cuvée to deliver a consistently smooth, easy-drinking style.
With its pale yellow-straw hue, this Cuvée is lighter and softer than a classic Chardonnay, making it an easy pairing for most dishes and tastes. It delivers tropical flavors of rockmelon, mango, and pineapple, balanced by lively citrus notes. On the nose, you’ll find cashew, lychee, and melon, with a subtle toastiness from minimal oak influence. Undeniably Chardonnay yet never overpowering. Best cellared for 3–5 years, though fans of traditional styles may prefer to let it mature longer.
