Vignoble Des 2 Lunes Genese Riesling 2024
The Wine
A beautifully pure example of Alsace Riesling, made from certified biodynamic vineyards on limestone-marl hillsides. The grapes are hand-picked and wild-fermented with native yeasts, then rest on fine lees to add texture and depth. Fermentation finishes naturally with less than a gram of residual sugar, creating a dry, mineral-driven style that showcases the region’s clarity and precision. Just a touch of sulphur is added at bottling to keep it fresh.
Look for zesty citrus and crisp green apple, with delicate floral notes and a subtle saline hint that reflects its biodynamic roots. Perfect alongside seafood, Asian dishes, or simply enjoyed on a sunny afternoon. Crazy value!

About the Wine Maker
Located in Wettolsheim, at the heart of Alsace, Vignoble des 2 Lunes is a seventh-generation family estate now led by sisters Amélie and Cécile Buecher. Since taking the reins in 2009, the duo has combined deep family tradition with a forward-thinking approach to biodynamic viticulture.
Their 14 hectares of vineyards have been certified biodynamic by Demeter since 2007, and the name “Vignoble des 2 Lunes”, meaning “Vineyard of the Two Moons”, reflects their belief in working in harmony with nature’s rhythms. From lunar pruning to horse-ploughing, every decision in the vineyard and cellar honours balance, energy, and respect for the land.
The resulting wines are pure, expressive and deeply mineral, capturing the essence of Alsace’s limestone and marl soils. Each cuvée tells the story of the region’s terroir through the lens of biodynamic farming and gentle, low-intervention winemaking.
