The Wine

From the Winemaker (Bowen Estate):  The intense red fruit character is evident from start to finish.  The palate is very succulent with elegant fruit flavours matched by hints of liquorish and bay leaves adding balance to the wine.  American oak supports the natural tannins adding to this attractive wine which is ready to drink now and into the future. Over the next 5-7 years.

About the Wine Maker

Bowen Estate, family owned and operated, was first established in 1972 and is located on the Southern end of the Coonawarra strip. The vines are grown on prime terra rossa soil, and are hand pruned, ensuring the highest quality grapes for the three varieties they produce, Chardonnay, Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon.
