The Wine
A classic Mornington Peninsula Pinot that’s bright, fresh, and easy to love. Made from barrels selected from Hurley’s top single vineyards, this wine balances juicy red fruits with subtle spice and a touch of earthiness. Light-bodied, smooth, and vibrant – this is Pinot for pure enjoyment.
93 Pts - 4 Stars Stuart Knox, The Real Review 'Bright ruby and purples colours. Raspberry, rose petal and orange oil aromatics. Brights red fruits on entry, flows with a delicate glide on acid wings with tannins only filling in towards the finish. Very primary at the moment but a hint of game meats peeks out and will no doubt show more over time. Length is fantastic and it fans out with delight at the finish. Drink 2025-2033.
92 Pts Jane Faulkner, The Wine Companion 'A light, bright, juicy style showing plenty of upfront fruit, all strawberries and raspberries, with snips of fresh basil, cherry cola in there too. It’s very refreshing, driven by lively acidity, tannins light and barely there. Not complex but a lovely pinot for today.

About the Wine Maker
The Hurley Vineyard wines are a set of Pinot Noirs built out of a singular focus shared by husband and wife team, Kevin Bell and Tricia Byrnes. The vineyard is located in Balnarring on the Mornington Peninsula. If vintage conditions allow, three separate Pinot Noirs from three individual blocks are made, showcasing the differences in style across their excellent site. The original Hurley Farm was established by Irish settlers William and Johanna Hurley back in the 1860s. Burgundy clearly inspired them to this endeavour, not to mimic the wines from the Cote d’Or in terms of taste but the ethos of single site expressions, terrior driven wines.
