Yelland & Papps Vin de Soif 2023
The Wine
92 Pts, Gary Walsh, The Wine Front (From the 2024 Vintage) 'Well it does what it says on the label (albeit in French) and offers juicy jolly drinking with some complexity built in. Cherry and raspberry, orange peel, some floral notes, quite a bit of bunchy spice. It’s kind of sappy and tangy, but in a nice way, light emery tannin, crisp, with some blood orange and red fruits closing out a finish of good length.'

About the Wine Maker
Yelland and Papps specialize in small-batch, unique, elegant, and distinctive wines, crafted with passion by a hands-on family winery. Unlike many, Susan and Michael are not traditionally linked to the Barossa Valley; their connection is rooted in a profound love for wine, the region, its vineyards, history, and personalities.
While Shiraz often dominates the Barossa scene, Yelland and Papps have gained equal renown for their whole bunch Grenache and unfiltered Roussanne, alongside their Old Vine Greenock Shiraz.
